Earlier, De La Salle Uni- versity (DLSU) President Bro. Armin Ilustre declared it's stance supporting the call for resignation of the presi- dent. Philippine Normal University (PNU) President Dr. Nilo Rosas issued a disclaimer on a re- ported statement supporting a call for the President to re- sign. The official said that the statement supporting issued by PNU Aware does not reflect the pulse of the entire univer- sity. "This is a free country and they have every right to do that But we did not issue the state- ment. It came from some segments of the university," he said. The PNU is a member of the Philippine Association of Schools Universities and Colleges (PASUC) which has expressed its support for the administration and leader ship of President Arroyo.
